Hydrolates (improperly called hydrosol) are bi-products of the distillation of the essential oils. In the past, distillers were either discarding them or using them for their own use. Nowadays, they have progressively become a staple in skin care due to their hydrating properties (very much like distilled water). They are in fact aroma distilled waters or floral distilled waters as they are still called. We have incorporated infused B-Vitamins complexes in order to increase their beneficial actions on the skin. A touch of glycerin keeps the product from freezing in low temperatures, adds moisture and is humectant to the skin. Our Fleur de lavande is definitely for Lavender lovers.
