Back to Basics: Washing your hair with organic natural non lathering shampoo

Washing your hair with natural organic shampoo requires some adaptation. They are definitely different from chemical shampoos. The ingredients are more nourishing for the hair and are not as abrasive as the traditional ingredients found in chemical grade shampoos.

Obligé by Nature Shampoos are over 70% Organic!! They provide all the moisture and essential elements your hair needs to stay healthy!  And most important, they do not contain parabens, sulfates, phthalates, synthetic chemicals or synthetic fragrances!

TIPS:

Make sure you completely soak your hair with water beforehand. Avoid using extremely hot water. Hot water may cause dry damages which may then result in Hair loss.

Do not use too much shampoo, apply a small amount, roughly around the size of a quarter in the palm of your hand and gently massage your scalp with your fingertips.  It will require a little more time than traditional lathering shampoo but it will gently cleanse your hair while giving it moisture and nutrients.

Shampoo Stimulant

Obligé by Nature Shampoo is a low lather shampoo but for those who prefer more lather, we advise to apply a second amount after fast rinsing the first application, this will lather much more consistently.

Make sure you rinse your hair thoroughly until there is no more shampoo or bubbles in your hair. Not doing so may result in your hair feeling greasy.

You may then want to condition your hair. If so, apply your conditioner just as you did with any shampoo.  If your hair is naturally oily, apply some more shampoo after the conditioner to remove some of the oils left behind. If your hair is naturally dry, keep the conditioner on longer and rinse a little less to keep the moisture on your hair.

Once you have finished rinsing your conditioner, you should make sure you squeeze any additional water out of your hair and wrap up a towel over your head to absorb the remaining water. Avoid rubbing vigorously as it may damage your hair.
